Right to Farm = Rignt to Abuse

Many state are passing or trying to pass “Right to Farm” bills.  These bills are being brought to state legislators by big factory farms.  These factory farms want to keep their practices secret.  The “Right to Farm” bills would prohibit organizations like Peta and Mercy for Animals, from exposing animal abuse.  These bills would also prohibit organizations from exposing worker rights violations on these factory farms.  Wouldn’t it be easier for these factory farms just to clean up their acts?  And if they aren’t committing all these horrible atrocities, why would they need legislation to keep this secret? Evidently it is cheaper to buy state legislators than it is to be a decent “person”. Don’t fall for their propaganda—make sure your state does not pass a “Right to Farm” law.
